Hearing Aid Fitting in Michigan, Minnesota, & Florida

Hearing aids aren’t a one-size-fits-all solution. Personalized fittings ensure your devices are tailored to your unique hearing needs for maximum comfort and clarity.

Before your fitting, we perform a thorough hearing aid discovery test to determine how best to personalize your hearing aids.
This test helps us:

  • Set the appropriate amplification levels so sounds are clear and audible.
  • Adjust compression settings to soften loud noises and prevent discomfort.

These results guide your hearing aid specialist in customizing the device to suit your hearing profile.

Once your custom hearing aids arrive (typically within two weeks), we’ll schedule your fitting appointment. During this visit, we’ll:

  • Ensure your hearing aids fit securely and comfortably.
  • Fine-tune sound settings based on your feedback.
  • Teach you how to care for and operate your hearing aids effectively.

A hearing aid discovery test is quick, painless, and the key to a successful hearing aid experience. Schedule your appointment today at one of our hearing clinics and take control of your hearing health.

Hearing aid fittings can take between 45 minutes and two hours. In this time we have a lot to do including:

  • Customize the fit of your hearing aid by adjusting the earpiece and tubing.
  • Checking the fit of any custom molds.
  • Programming your hearing aid to amplify the frequencies you’re struggling to hear.
  • Testing how well the hearing aid is working and whether it needs to be adjusted further.
  • Going over how to take care of them and keep them working like new.
  • Covering any advanced features your hearing aid may have such as streaming Bluetooth.

You’ll only wear your new hearing aids if they’re comfortable and work. So be honest with us, and let us know if they need further adjustments.
